A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

"Lost Planets" is a top-down shooter made for BlackthornProd GameJam 2 in 4 days. I hope you'll enjoy it :)

Note: The Mac and Windows versions should be fine but I couldn't test the Linux version.

Keyboard and mouse required. Controls:

  • [WASD] to move.
  • [Mouse Left click] to shoot or select a target area (Jupiter AOE).
  • [Mouse Right click] to begin targeting an area (requires Jupiter skill).
  • [E] to heal (requires Earth skill).
  • [SPACE] to launch the local AOE (requires Mars skill).

All assets have been created by me using:

  • Graphics: Procreate on iPad and Affinity Designer on Mac.
  • Sounds/Musics: Garage Band on iPad and Audacity.

No unity asset have been used, only the packages found in package manager (cinemachine, progrid, etc.)

Really nice game. It feels like it ramps up in difficulty quite quickly though. Those little suns are so fast I just kept on getting pinned to walls and couldn't move away.

Overall though it feels really nice and the music and SFX fit really nicely without being over the top. Great work :)

 It works fine on Windows btw.

Hi, Thank you for playing and your feedback ! :)

Also thanks for confirming that it works on Windows. Like always, I submitted during the last minutes, and at 1am I made my mistake: I submitted the "browser playable" version with a zip file containing only the index.html, without all the game data. Fortunately I had uploaded the other versions, but since someone said that the executables didn't work, I began to think that nobody could test the game ^_^;

I'll play and rate Mini Sandbox Universe too !
